An excessive meat samples preservatives

Centre for Food Safety today announced a meat samples were found to contain excessive levels of nitrate, has asked the merchants to stop selling, and issued a warning letter. The meat samples were found to contain 932 ppm of nitrate in excess of 500 ppm legal limit. However, nitrate toxicity is low, normal consumption should not pose any adverse health effects.
